Anyone know of a clued up Audi/Vag specialist in the Essex area or within a sensible travelling distance?

Big or small company, just want someone who actually knows a bit about the 2.0tfsi engines as I need some advice on a few things, but its the sort of thing you need to show someone, rather than explain on a forum.

(obviously I dont include Audi themselves in this, and prefer not to go to Peter Breading because in my opinion they are ****, and they blew my engine up last time they touched it, so need a second opinion on a few things as I may end up taking it to them to rectify it if its a problem caused by them!)

cheers all

Amd tuning Essex? If I was closer to them I would certainly be using them for all my work!

Oh yeh, forgot about them, despite having all my remaps done with them, I totally forgot LOL.

Would still be nice to hear about any others though. AMD are good, but its always been a case of first come first serve with them, so wouldnt wanna wait around for hours until someone looked at it (assuming thats still the case these days?)

4Rings in Dartford, just over the bridge into Kent. I've taken my 2.0tfsi to them for years.

AMD have to be the best. There is also Power Developments in Laindon, just off the A127 Fortune Of War roundabout.

There is also volks autos nearby

Volks Autos is Sutton, Surrey?

If it's any help,in addition to the above, almost all of the work on my car(with the exception of the new ECU) has been done by AMDTuning.

I've been going there for some years now, from a Stg1 remap, through all the others to where it is now on a Syvecs ECU,and more than twice the power that Audi gave it,and have always found them to be neat, efficient, and totally reliable...I would recommend them to anyone(and no,I'm not on the payroll!)

If you book the car in,you won't be left sitting around.

Oh yeh, I totally agree with what people say about AMD, its just every time I've been to have something done its been a case of first come first serve, and I've booked everytime. But they are popular, so its expected really.

I've probably been fortunate then, but also I usually leave the car with them, and pick it up after,so it doesn't cause me or them any problems.

Knowing you've been there before,I'd say go back,as you know you'll get quality service and results.
Mine is going back soon for an AP brake kit,so they'll have it once again!

I've had jobs booked in and done on Saturday mornings. Just drop it off 9.00 in the morning and walk over to Lakeside for brekky. AMD phone phone me sometime later to pick it up again, simples.
