I've reserved RS3 / RS6 and anything else on offer
They hand you the keys for an hour basically
We went on this last November

Driven RS3, RS6 and RS7.

Around Thruxton in the RS3 this afternoon

The RS3 is sublime - the noise it makes, even with the std exhaust is addictive.

Apparently the order books are now full for RS3 this year - I say apparently, as this is what the group sales manager has said.

Superb you get to drive so many cars.

Any thoughts on RS3 paint colours ?
With so many to compare.
 
Just been round the track in RS6, RS3 and TTS...........Oh my! The TTS is very sure footed around corners; the RS6 makes a lot of noise but is wallows ; the RS3 is bonkers!!!!

Anyone seen a picture of a Sepang RS3 with pimped out courtesy glass and standard trim, i.e. no black or (yuk) alu pack?
 
Not liking the Alu pack at all, I think it looks quite cheap.

Ditto. The chin strap looks like it fell off an AMG A45 and got stuck in the intake.

Was there rs3's with & without sports exhaust ?

All the cars here had the standard exhaust - it has chrome tips. The sports exhaust (which none of the reps here have seen) have black tips!!!!
 
I thought the exhaust tips were chrome regardless on the rs3.

Any r8's there ?
 
Not convinced that is true. I've seen videos of the car with sports exhaust and it didn't have black tips. I think what you say may be true of other RS models. The penny-pinchers at the lower end of the model range won't fork out for a bit of extra paint!
 
Seen one in every colour in daylight now, apart from Silver, and in my opinion the Alu pack just does not go with anything, it really does look cheap and a bit Halfords. What ever colour you go for Black back is the one essential box to tick. Just my opinion and not prompting a cyber war.

I'm just passing on what the divisions head of sales has just told me..... When he went to the factory for the famil course, they did not have any there....
 
I've been told the same by Audi staff. We'll see.... ;-)
 
Rs3 brochure arrived in post today.

Sports exhaust is specified with chrome tips.
 
the brochure says 19" brakes....

There is no way 'Nardo' is the colour given in the brochure on page 30! The one I saw was nearer Floret than Daytona much lighter.
 
The brochure also now gives different mpg for the wider front wheels.
