Hi all,
Heres my Audi A4 Build thread.... all work is carried out by myself.

The day I bought it

Gave it a nice clean and detail after a few days

Next up was to make a grill as i wanted a honeycomb one, which you cany buy for the a4 s line
1st up was bumper removal

Then taking the bumper apart, started cutting away at the s-line grill as i only needed the frame. the mesh i bought you can see in the back ground.

Test fit of mesh, tied in place to glue....This was an absolute *** of a job..

Left it to dry overnight then went over the edges with Sikaflex 221

Fitted this while it was apart (Cupra R splitter)

Now in primer..

Then finished off with some Gloss black, which later reacted with the chrome so i wrapped it in carbon....

Then all bolted back together

Came out the next morning and was too much pressure on it and the glue had broken off so had to modify the bumper slightly...(Tied on in these pics)

Made a temporary bracket for numberplate

Then my pressed Plates turned up along with my mud guards... and debadged the rear..

Then came time for the wheels :)

Wanted to break the back up a bit so hit the diffuser with some gloss black...

Decided it looked crap without a badge so polished this back up and put it on... much better

Treated it to a good service

Photos at my local church

Hated this photo and decided the plate needed a better location soon

Then saw this on a build and thought... i need this so i looked into headunits that can be fully controlled by ipad, found one that works with sony app radio so went ahead and purchased all the items for it and began the build

Heater controls moved for ipad

switches relocated and rewired

Decided they needed to be flushed

USB ports wired in

As i now have no cup holder i purchased some and made them fit flush.

Currently finishing this part of the build as interior is going through some changes...

More photos of the ipad build, apologies for the instagram photos ive lost originals
Ipad mount (hidden with faceplate)

Playing about with wrap and cover options

Coilovers were fitted at this point, phone broke in the process, apparently dropping a mallet on an iphone screen breaks them... who would have known... so no photos at this point :(

Then on a site i saw this and had some inspiration for mine. The painwork on front bumper wasnt excellent and decided a dip would be a good idea.

I chose a custom color and had the dip made and posted out the next day and began the work...

And the finished product

Then decided the bars needed spraying as i hate chrome with a passion or any kind of metal. will need to do the window seals soon too in black

That looks awesome
Did it start out in quartz grey?
I might be buying a b7 avant in quartz grey..dont know if i like the colour
But yours next to the church looks awesome
