TDI bad hot start

Hi, lately my b6 has a hard time starting when the engine is hot. Battery is good.

Happens when coming from groceries and such, starts ok when it's cold...
 
My new CTS from Audi was only £24 including the new O ring.
 
And it sorted my erratic temp gauge.
 
theres actually a hot start fix like cold start. whichis down to software. can be altered in the ECU its either that. Battery which you have ruled out. if your timing if you have the belt changed recently
 
Just got the job done,still not starting right,what's next?
 
Cam or Crank position sensors can often be the culprit for hot start issues, it'd certainly be my next suspect if a gen CTS didn't solve the issue.
 
We were also wondering if the timing has changed,its been a while since my last belt so,i don't really think so.

Also since a week or 2 cold starts are also getting worse...
