Its been less than a week, I had perfect paintwork for 5 days.
Following the fantastic job Mark did last Monday on the right side panels my car was perfect, no marks no bumps no scratches.

You can see where this is going.......

Picked the missus up, stopped at a junction and then bang, well, scratchy crunchy noise to be more accurate.

Oh no. Sorry to hear this Paul. Car was looking fantastic again. Hope your ok, that's all that matters. You will get the car sorted out.

Always seems to be a Ford Fiesta! Gutted for you mate. Nothing worse than the car looking great then this happens. I had my car detailed recently. Cost £200 and then around 100 seagulls used it as target practice. I could have cried...

Ohhh Paul, what is going on!!!

Doesn't look too major, however I can feel your pain, hopefully you get it sorted soon and it wasn't anything worse.

I am hoping, I will get Mark from Fix Auto to do it, but I did get a largish wad of cash dropped around my house by the guy who did it as he didn't want to go through the insurance. I gave him until 9.00 Sunday night to bring it round here and he was here just after 9.00 on Sat night. I said if its less than what he has given me I will give him the difference back.
I am a nice guy like that.

Though its not as if I am not having a bad enough time this week so far, woke up to this earlier this morning.....

Victim of a potential SatNav theft. White R8 cruising past a few times with a black Peugeot, widow goes through, black peugeot comes back up the road, stops by my car and drives off.
Oh how unlucky I am to have CCTV and a dashcam that got their reg numbers.
Police investigating, car at City Centre Car Care and I now have a fault claim, which means I will be now paying a gazillion quid for 12 months on a 7 yr old car.

Omg Paul, you really having a crap week. Its good you have the cctv and dashcam. As you say im sure your premiums will go up through no fault of your own. x

Oh no!!!

If it aint one thing its another!!!

Good thing you got the details and they will hopefully get dealt with!!

Edit. No sooner have I got home from a weekend away, mines been scuffed.
Such is life. May wasps infest their bumhole.
Sorry to crash your thread !!

Gutted for ya mate.

In the space of 2 weeks had y front wing smashed in (& no note left) & an attempted break in last night

wish my dash cam was in,but awaiting fittment

Sorry to his bud, not good

Can't we get a law passed so that if someone hits our cars and we catch them we get to break all there fingers and then be able to rearrange their faces.

Frame repair, new rubber, chrome strip and drop glass £330. I have £200 excess so will pay cash instead of going through the insurance, not worth increasing my premium for £130.
I have found a secure secure storage place with 24hr security, 24/7 access and cctv, my car will now be parked there, collected at the weekend when I use it and taken back there.
Worth it for the peace of mind of not worrying when they will come back and have another go.

The police on the other hand have been taking their time over it, no one has yet come around to take the footage despite it showing the thieves car and most of the number plate.
Not bashing the police or anything, I appreciate they are busy, but I am a victim of crime and a little support to show they are doing something about it wouldn't go amiss.

@Gazwould, When we loaded it onto the recovery truck I noticed my front tyre had started to de laminate and will need replacing, that is the third. I don't want to be cursed with a fourth.

Really **** luck you're having mate. Hope you manage to get it all sorted without too much expense or ball ache. Hopefully the police will catch the scumbags too!

Bumper damage all repaired and done by the talented Mark at Fix Auto in Kent.

Looks spot on Paul, hopefully this is the end of the bad spell!!!

Have you had any word from the police if they caught the scum who smashed your window ?

Apparently they have their eye on someone who is known for going around Brum nicking Audi sat nav units. While they can't just pull him in and give him a kicking I will never know.
Wouldn't be a problem if Gene Hunt was still on the force. :busted cop:
