Wrapping the roof

Okay so this will probably divide opinion, but i've currently got a Sepang S3 hatch with pano roof & black pack. I love how the roof looks so thought i wonder what it would look like if i had the roof and the spoiler wrapped gloss black.

Thoughts? I had a similar thing done on my red JCW and that looked the nuts

I've just been showing my missus pics of wrapped roofs. I too have a Sepang S3, no pano roof tho. Just fancy a bit of a change...
(after 3 months!) :wtf:

Had mine about 8 months and i'm trying to stop myself going for the RS!

I think i'll have a go on photoshop and see what it looks like.. don't think it would be too expensive either
 
Did you get the RS3 teaser brochure in the post too?
£10k over an S3 is an awful lot of money - baring in mind you could get a warranted ECU re-map from ABT for £1900... I know there is more to the RS3 than the power: ie. Seats, suspension etc... and the "I've got an RS3" feeling... I guess it depends on what your Audi dealership is prepared to offer. I can't imagine they'll be too keen to discount by much - if any, as is the norm on RS models.

I didn't unfortunately, my dealers are pretty useless!!

I'm going to pop in and see what it would cost me, but i doubt it would be a small amount. I've already got a DTUK box on the S3 and i'm just about to go to stage 2, but it's the looks and the sound of the RS that makes me want it. It even lets me look past it's too many doors... :yes:

I'll see if my missus can wangle an extended test drive for me... just to see
 
:sign omg: i want one..

I've blagged a weekend with an A45, but spending a while with an RS3 would be cracking.. can't see anyone letting me have that at the moment though
 
I think it will look nice. The 8p pano roof was alot larger and covered the whole roof and i think the spoiler was also gloss black?
I think the 8v should of been the same. I would go for it
 
One of the offices I work at suffers from mass bird shat! So having a wrap to the roof would help preserve the original paintwork. I like the idea of the carbon wrap, but really don't want to look chav like... I'm going to go see them and get options on it

I think I'm going to do this on my Sepang when it arrives. My bro has his 8P done 2 years ago by PDA in Harrogate, proper 3M stuff and still looks great. I don't think he's ever washed it either. Cost him £110 all in but this was a full roof. Would imagine £70ish for the half roof and spoiler.

Think i'll go for it, for a hundred pound or so it wouldn't be the end of the world if i decided to take it off.

Will post up when i've got it done

They look good I've done a couple at work

We charge £150 and that's in gloss satin or Matte effect, chrome is double

Full car wrap on a s3 3dr is 1400
5dr 1500
Saloon 1600

There's plenty of places round Manchester go get it done. Polish and glow on deansgate or vehicle wrapping mcr.

I'm also going to try and blag a test drive at Blackburn Audi at some point this week. I watched a video on by Supercars of London on YouTube and the sound!!!

Yeah i've asked both of those places for a quote, polish and glow take forever to reply to messages though
