That's what I was told as well; having said that my order was placed first and I have the first BW slot as well (to the best of my knowledge)

Slough called back looking into getting a BW for me, but still no answer.. looks like that's a no go. I think I'll stick with my guns at Basi and wait it out.. hey ho. Just completely baffled and amazed that an order has been with Audi for what, more than a month and still no BW and no explanation from Customer Services or the dealership as to why.

I have also come to the same conclusion. Chopping to another dealer could quite easily result in a similar non allocation of BW. I spoke to Camberly who said there was the potential to intercept a stock car at BW40 and spec amend but that's not exactly a rapid delivery and they are also in the same group as Baiso so I still feel little would be gained. I'm now exercising patience...... Which will last until I see people zipping about in their new RS!

I can't recall seeing an 8P RS3 on the road (though they were a limited run) so I can't imagine seeing any number of 8V RS3's, hell I've only seen 2 or 3 other 8V S3's on the road since launch.

I don't think we'll feel any less on the exclusivity level on collection day :)

latest email today from dealer.... and I quote (despite what my "yourAudi" says!)

"Firstly I hope you are well? Thought I would touch base and keep you in the loop. I have looked at the RS3 order and still nothing accepted by the factory, sadly it is out of my control when Audi will change this but I will keep my eye on it."

I'm going to order all the parts from TPS and assemble my own 8V RS3 when the time comes.
Be quicker than ordering one.

It's still quicker than waiting for a (about to swear, turn away children...) Golf R. I was quoted November delivery back in February!

I ordered one last September. Cancelled start of March. And according to the tracker is only just coming into transit now!

Congrats mate, very similar spec to mine, but gone gloss alloys and RS Design Pack as well. I reckon you will get yours before mine at this rate. Still no build week having spent an hour on the phone with the dealer and Audi UK yesterday.

Thanks bud, added folding wing mirrors, they also dip when reversing so hopefully no scraped wheels, nothing bothers me more than that !
 
My dealers demo car is now sitting in their compound!!! Apparantly, they are having an offical launch on 16th Jun......:yahoo:(including a drive)......

I get the same answer from Audi Customer Services about why there is no BW, it's down to the factory, so I don't see what that will achieve?
 
nope. all standard options, no exclusive or anything in there.
 
Just checked this morning and my orders jumped forward to BW 28 now

Oh ******** - mine has jumped backwards from BW31 to BW35 (end August) - not a happy teddy bear :(
