Hi all!!

Just boutgh a 2006 A3 Sportback 2.0 tdi with 105.000 km not modified until now, maybe in the future...

I would like to know if I can make EGR deletion via vag-com for my card and wich vag-com to buy that allow such modifications, thanks!

Hi, nice tidy looking car.
Re VCDS, (Vagcom), you should only buy a genuine cable, that way you have it registered with Ross-Tech and you can register on their user forums for help and assistance.

Thank you. I was already taking a look at their website and looks like they are not really cheap ones, of course I´d prefer paying a bit more and get quality, but I don´t have a deep knowledge about VCDS and want to make sure first if I´ll have access to most of the features or if my car allows adjusting EGR openning or TDI timing via VCDS for example. I´ve heard that some cars do not allow all functions.
