Yep, sorry to say it, but I shall be jumping-ship. It won't be for 3 months, as that's how long me new one will take to get here.

I need something a bit more suitable for living in the country on **** covered roads etc. Local Audi dealer offered me the lowest amount for my Avant out of all the garages I went too and was not realy interested in getting me sorted with a Q5, all they tried to do was **** me about and offer me a deal on some new "old model" Q7 they had in the showroom. Great when I went in to look at a Q5, they never even offered to show me one.
Anyhow, I have now found a suitable vehicle that I realy like with a "deal" I'm happy with too, so it's on order.

I will miss the 3.0ltr V6 for sure, but not the hard ride and the difficulty getting in & out of it. Payments will be less, and I get quite a few thousand pounds back out of the deal too.

For fun here's a picture of a bit of it, should be easier to guess if you know my VCDS will still work. :)

Wheel 680x480

Amarok. Is that the part car, part pickup model, VW's equivalent of the Nissan Navarra?

VW Tiguan, there is some good lease deals on these at the moment. (especially the R Line's)

Sixpot is correct,:thumbs up: Tiguan R-Line on a PCP deal

OK it's not a Q5, but I've always liked the looked of the Tiguan and it works out "at least" £8000 less than a similar Q5, but Audi kinda blew that idea anyhow. The Tiguan drove "way" more like a normal car than the others too, had to up spec to full leather to get the seat adjustability I need and I added the Dynaudio sound upgrade, cruise and the usual Rip-off metallic paint fee.

I still got some more time to enjoy my V6 before going back to a 2.0ltr, I not gone yet.

Of course, but you will also need to find a proper VW one as well! I joined www.briskoda.net as soon I bought my wife a Polo as the Polo forums were full of "hits/tips for dressing Mum's car up", I also joined www.seatcupra.net for the same reason!

I'm still on Briskoda, mytiguan.com is the place for Tigs.

If only the Audi sales guy's in Swindon would have looked after me like the service department have "they been very good", I would be in a Q5 now, that said I'm in love with this Tiguan

Good old dealers eh always looking out for them selves !

well done on getting your new car , I have a Tiguan sport ( couldn't afford an R line when I got it ) but my next car will be the R line .
Great cars but my one being white is a pain to clean ( I enjoy cleaning it and wives GTD in white also ).
What colour did you get ?
