So I got my rear windows tinted this morning and I ended up going for 35% Suntek Carbon! I must say I am very impressed with the results, they really suit the car!
Also thanks for the help and advice on the % guys!

Anyway some quick before and after shots, let me know what you think!:) .. I will get some better ones after I get the car cleaned!

You should pay no more the £100 max

Depends where you are in the country. Mine will cost £175, but I wouldn't contemplate going elsewhere and looking for a cheaper job. The guy's work is faultless; I've used him twice before.

Thanks Mate! :)

Good stuff mate.

Cost and location? Need to get mine done soonish, too.

Cheers.

Thanks, they cost me £90 but I have been to the guy a few times for vinyl wrapping so I got some discount. I am across in NI so it would be a tad expensive to come across!haha

Looks awesome, really must get mine done!

So what life expectancy can you expect from tints, does it depend on type of tint, ceramic etc., obviously fitting, do the windows come out, (so it covers all the glass), or can you see the original glass around the edges. How do they manage to do the back window to the edges without it peeling?

Thanks, (sorry if they're thick questions)!

Cheers buddy! .. Well the tinter I used uses Suntek tint film. So I went for the Suntek Carbon tint which has a lifetime guarantee which I was happy with! Normal Suntek tint which is also great quality comes with a 3 year guarantee!

The guy who done mine, removed the door cards so he could tint the whole glass properly, he also removed the rear parcel shelf and third brake light so again the glass could be properly tinted. It was a very professional job when I was watching him!

That looks and sounds a great job, many dont remove the cars or at least lever them off so they can get a decent finish.

I've had tints since 2002 on every car and have learnt the hard way, cheap isn't usually worth it, so worth checking jobs done and making sure they are warranted... This looks a great job :)

Totally agree; this not a price-led choice. Quality and workmanship are everything.

Agreed.
I'm looking to get carbon tints as they seem to be the preferred choice when it comes to quality and also come with life time guarantees at most places.

Just need to find a good place to do it in or around london/birmingham (visit a lot).

Yeh deff get what you pay for and there's nothing worse than a dodgy tint job
