Oil pick up pipe question

Does any one know if using engine flush on my car (2.0 TFSI) 55reg will clear the oil pick up pipe or do you have no choice but to change it?

If I have to do the latter does anyone know what the price for that is on average including parts and labour?
 
No needs to be removed, no idea on price sorry
 
£40 for the part and roughly 2 hours labour max. I skimped on not doing this and it's cost me an engine and turbo. It's a no brainier, I speak from experience.
 
My car was only serviced 800 miles ago and iv read to many horror stories over the last week and its made me very paranoid! thinking about having it done to be safe but it means paying for another service

Another service is cheaper than a new engine
 
Very true which is why I think I'm going to get it done to be safe.
