Thought I may as well start this thread

I've just been allocated provisional build week 28, week commencing 6th July 2015 for my 'part deux' order

Going from experience, this MAY come foreword 2 weeks, but we shall see

Downside is - another ****** long wait :banghead:

Upsides are - will defo be a MY16 and depending on delivery date, I may push it back to 1st Sept. for the 65 plate

My Dealers vehicle allocation must have been low as it took 4 weeks to the day to get an order number and build week

Now where's that brochure for some possible colour and option changes ... :eyebrows:

Been informed by my dealer today that my order is now Code 10 with an estimated Build week of week 25. I ordered 05/02/15 - the wait is going to be painful and I will probably have to extend my current lease which expires 06/07/15 if it does not come forward.

A3 sline, 2.0tdi 150 stronic, glacier white + bucket load of options ordered with Coventry Audi on Wednesday. No BW yet, they said expect delivery around mid-end June, hoping for build week 22+ is that possible?
 
Now BW 20 so out of here and moving on!

Ordered 20 Feb, build week was 27 and is now 25! Time is dragging, damn you :audibash:

Expecting to hear my build date within next few days or so after ordering on Saturday. If that's MY16 too then wonder if will change any of options I've ordered? I already requested 1st week in Sept delivery anyway for 65 plate (and suits my exiting finance deal).

Been told today I'm BW 25. At least it's the new MY16 in that case - slightly revised rear view mirror and gear change paddles (woop!).

As for comments on avoiding price increases mine is as agreed on the order form as far as I'm concerned.

Dealer already trying to tempt me to get my car early - end July or early August based on estd. lead time after BW 25. Want to stay strong for 65 plate though as agreed!
 
Re: price increases:-

Customer tagged orders submitted as MY15 will be price protected at the existing retail price.
 
Just got BW 25

So only 13 weeks wait compared to 25 weeks last time round so should get it just in time for holiday drive down to La Rochelle in France :)

Thinking about adding LED lights (thoughts anyone?) and got a couple of weeks to decide without impacting build week

after a 4 month wait i was able to finally order my car last week monday. another 3 month wait to get the car now, I've got build week 26. sepang blue, stronic, s3. trying to forget about it for now but i keep ending up on this site 3 times a day lol.

its been two weeks since my order and im still doing that :( ....
 
I've been given BW26, today with an estimated pick up from dealers in July for an S3 Saloon.
 
As my car was ordered from a lease company i asked the lease company which dealers is it coming from.
I was told berkshire so i asked which one? Reading, slough or ridgeway newbury?
I got a response that the supplier told the lease company its coming from a prep centre in oxfordshire?

Anyone know what that means?
 
Signed my updated order today when I was at the dealers getting my current A3 SB serviced.

BW25 confirmed with a slight chance of it coming forward a week so looking at w/c 6th July...only 8 weeks to go :)
 
I'm build week 27, recon I'll get end end of July! Was BW 28 so came forward!
 
Revised build week means I'm in with you guys - been told first week in July so should land with dealer mid to late August.

Could be as early as first week of August, working on a typical 4 weeks from build week to delivery.
If late August will you be tempted to hold over to September 1st?

From the start I wanted September collection. Original BW kept getting brought forward so they agreed to resubmit order to ensure MY16 at same price. 2nd September collection been booked for a while :)
 
I waited for 1st September for my current A3 SB to save it sitting in an airport car park for 2.5 weeks. This time round the earlier the better for me as I want to run it in and give it a blast through France first 2 weeks of August
 
My will power is being severely tested but 2nd September it is ;-)

mine is week 27 too, was 28 and came forward too. Think should be last week July fingers crossed !! What colour, spec yours ?

Build week 27, so they are saying towards the end of July.......

I am thinking if it slips by a week or two I'll wait until sept 1st (something a bit novel about a new plate), however if it comes forward I think I'll just take it, as it's a lease job and won't make any difference to the guaranteed future value.

Do you think the dealer can force me to take it? Or, if they have sales targets to hit could they sweeten the deal in anyway...

Had originally spec'd Mag ride, but that's when I thought it would be the main car for ferrying the 18 month around and didn't want to have him yelping on every speed bump, but we've decided to keep my old Lexus jeep for those duties now.....

Anyway, that's it done and locked, as long as it hasn't gone to status 20 overnight in which case it drops the B&O, mono.pur and front sensors, and gains Audi sound system and the mag again.

Not too fussed either way..... But the wait will kill me...

told me it take four weeks in total to arrive from date started

NO, dealer cant force you to take the car, my current A3 was held at the dealers for 6 week after they received it
