Put a bit of embellishment on my fog lamps. I've always thought on the s line they're a bit understated compared to the sport and the s3 and I found a bit of stick-on coachwork stripe in the garage (from the days when it was cool to add a stripe here and there) so I stuck it on. Haven't had the courage to take it out on the road yet, so what do others think? Bit boy-racerish? Gilding the lily? I might live with it for a few weeks and then see how I feel. Unless, of course, somebody orders me to remove it immediately...

Finally ordered a GoPro, so hopefully can get some decent videos uploaded :s3addict:

8.5x20 ET45 at the front.
9.5x20 ET57 with 5mm spacers at the rear.

225's front and 245's rear

You done anything with the arch liners on the front? I know mine creak a little when aired out, Wondering if 20s will make it any worse.
You adjusted the camber on the rear too?

Nope nothing to the arch liners.
Sometimes it creaks a little though, but nothing bad.
I'm running 1.50 camber on the rear ;)

Fitted adjustable coilovers last week, and a new exhaust this morning. Have tried all day to upload photos, but keep getting a message that the file size is too large for the server to process. Being a techno ******, I've no idea how to get around this :cry::disappointed:

If you have an iPhone take the photo, then use the home button and the power button to take a photo of the photo and then upload that on.

They're all jpegs taken on an android phone. Currently googling ways to shrink the files........ :pensive:

Should be an option if you email to yourself. Shan't bog this thread down though. Good luck

Tried that, no joy. However, took some with my other half's camera, but they're not great. Shame, as the ones I got when the car was up on the lift were pretty decent.

Not too sure about how much the ends protrude, may need some adjustment.....

OK ,think I've figured it out......

Will post some better shots of the coilovers at the weekend when I've got the wheels off again to lower the front a little more.

Car now sounds the business, and handles the bumps with ease. Hope you like..........

want a shot of my pen @alijnclarke
Hahaa!

I'm actually wanting a set of the stainless ones.. But I want them with that blue metal finish on the very edges. Not sure how / if it's possible to send them somewhere to get that done.

The white etching must be a new thing though! Looks great

I spent the entire afternoon from about 1pm to 6pm detailing my car at work, then on the drive home it rained :( karma for not working I guess lol

Took a break from VCDS coding and messed about with the bodywork:

  • Test Carbon Wrapped an "eBay" Lip Spoiler then test mounted to see if I can live with it.
  • PlastiDip'd Mirrors, but will probably wrap to match Spoiler.
  • Applied "eBay" Quattro decals.
  • Wrapped Front Splitter to match the standard S-Line rear diffuser.

Mirrors look good, did you take them off to do or just tape/cover up. Not sure about the spoiler!

Took the mirror caps off, is a pretty simple job. The spoiler is a really really good S3 copy. The OEM Carbon version is £300 so thought I would take a gamble and see how this works out at £45 lol

Possibly blew the budget for the 19s on a Breitling whilst on a city tour that very conveniently just happened to stop at a gold shop. Interesting sales tactics here in Turkey they ply you with beer whisk you off in a separate room away from your missus then tell you how good it looks and that it's a once in a lifetime saving. I don't need much encouragement at the best of times lol !! - thank you interest free balance transfer !

Ohh another watch fan ;) thought it was just me! I'm so tempted by the Omega 15,000 Gauss. The problem is, if I get it all my other watches will be redundant.

My wife doesn't know what they cost, she just says "Another watch...what for?", so I'll have to make a note somewhere so if something happens to me she doesn't sell them for what I've told her they cost lmao :D

Pictures don't do it justice but gives you an idea :wub::wub:
