Just wondering if anyone could give me any contacts to speed to about remaps ?

My dream and goal is to get my Audi A3 2TFSI engine from 200bp to around 280bhp ?

Any tips or advice anyone

280 is like the limits of that turbo, i only have a intake atm, and mine made a good 255bhp.
I have a water meth and a intercooler to be fitted but i still doubt i will make 280, i will make more power across the band but probably not higher.

Also a uprated DV wouldn't increase any power, but many recommend the rev D or G

I use a GFB DV+ to cope with the higher boost pressure. The best bolt on for our engines is a 3" downpipe if you can afford it, or a pre-cat delete if you are on a budget.

Many people still use the standard valve even in S3's running stage 2.

But yes apparently the pre cat in the down pipe is the biggest hold back. I need to get minedone.

Not sure what power mines running at the moment as it needs another map for the mods I've done, but put it this way, it had no issues keeping along side a normal unmapped s3

Yea I know, I would have assume thats more stage 4, stage 3 being like ko4 or something but hey ho different companies have different methods of upgrades :)

For Revo and APR Stg3 is a big turbo.
Stg4 is that plus a lot of internal upgrades.

Our Golf started life as a K03 car, BUT soon changed to a K04..

Stage 1 map will give you a good 250-255bhp.. If you would like anymore info lease feel free to contact me on 01522 717100

some of the gains on certain cars are incredible and others not so good...like the stage 1 gain on my 2.0FSI is 14 bhp sadly :( means one thing...new car lol

I had my old 200bhp 2.0 TFSI remapped.

It turned it into a brilliant car. Make sure you have the newer diverter valve. (The piston type I believe)
I had it remapped and I had a faulty valve so the remap made little difference. But once replaced, I was wowed.
The valve is not much from Audi, about £40-50 when I got one.

Depends where you live, but I always found if you spend between £300-400 for a half decent one. Or Revo is more like £600+

I'd never recommend upping boost without fueling...if that is indeed what has already been suggested.

Hope this helps.

I would highly recommend Rick@Unicornmotordevelopments.

Ace guy to deal with, and got loads of information!

Highly recommended
