any one de catted their 140 ???

eh up, any one de catted their 140 tdi, i've got a milltek cat back and down pipe and a dtuk box and i'm unsure if the decat will be the nail in the coffin, as in i'll be balls out on the tiny turbo and it'll let go ???

any advice before i decide to go for one and see for my self ???

I'm having my pd115 this week,
Doing it a little different tho,
I'm getting someone to cut it in half and taking everything out and welding a straight pipe inside and welding back together
Same for the little silencer and back box,
So it looks standard but it's not,

I done mine free mod 20 mins to get it off and a long bar and hammer job done :)

Mines a straight through exhaust and mapped no problems so far

was there any noticeable difference when you did it, (eg) better turbo spool, bit more pull, or am i asking too much from the 140, lol
 
Seems to pick up a tad better, MPG improved slightly as well which is a great side effect
 
cool that'll do me, what about the exhaust noise mate is there any change, or can you hear the turkey flutter from the turbo lol
 
well boyo's the cats out of the bag so to speak,
must say it moves a little better now, but on the down side there's a little more smoke out the back when you boot it,

cyclist's beware the soot cloud as i pass and engulf you with it, lmao.
