Hi there.
First of all I am very new to forums and my first post about my headlights was answer in super quick time, therefore I thought I would ask another question.

I would like any information on suspension and performance upgrades.

Please bare with me. I am a little long winded.
I have owned my Audi S6 Avant for 5 years now and I have done 100,000 miles in it. And I still enjoy driving it and I still think its a great car.
Its a normal Audi S6 Avant with 7 seat, 255 35 19 alloys, wide body, carbon pack. I have been told its a Plus, but I have no idea what that means, the chap at Audi told me the only difference was it had a bit more BHP. Could of just been sales talk. No idea.

It is, however time I ought to change it as it has 156,000 on clock. But after a full service, diff oil etc, all front suspension replaced with shocks, drivers door lock replaced my bill was near £1700. I thought I would keep it for another 2 years.

Suspension.. I am wanting to lower the car but I want to have some comfort but maybe 1" lower, I have no idea the difference between just having springs, sport suspension kit or coil over (I believe coil over are fully adjustable).
What should I go for and who or where will know anything about suspension upgrades on these older S6's??
Also what sort of price would I be looking at?

Performance, 5 years ago I had a hand built exhaust made and fitted with sport cats, basically the whole exhaust system, mainly because both cats packed up at the time and Audi wanted £1000 to per, not including other parts or fitting.
I wanted a exhaust that sounded amazing but I didn't want the noise in the car while I was traveling up the motorway. I love the sound it makes.
I have always been happy with the performance, I mean 350 ish bhp is, ok yeah. But now I would like a little more and I have been told that I would need a stage 2 remap and that would be £600.

I really do not understand enough to even know if I am paying the right price or which company to use, as with remaps there are 100's of companies out there. Only one I know is REVO

Any help would be great and sorry about the long post but I wasn't overly sure how to word it.
thank you
james
