Agreed- I would happily have had it without Mag ride to spend the money on something else instead like the RS design pack. Would love the Red Inlays that I saw in one photo!

..still doesn't give my order a build week, even after being accepted by the factory. It's feeling kinda weird now as new orders on here are getting one...?
I may go to Slough tomorrow where I had 3 cars off them in 2 yrs ('12 A4 (but only had it a few weeks did not like the drive at all), '62 S3 and '63 A5) and see what they come up with. Slough loaned me an S7 because S3 was delayed by 1 week
I too share your concern bout the lack of BW from that dealer. I'm going to be making some phone calls tomorrow. Let me know how you get on mate.

Doesn't even recognise the order number. Made some changes last thurs and then tried the order number to no avail. I have no confidence at all. The response to why was that dealership only had 1 allocation early on. Conifer img we put deposits down in March I'm not buying that anymore.what does your "yourAudi" say?

There is nothing differing from the majority of orders on here. Nardo, dynamic pack, high gloss, super sports seats, black capped mirrors and black roof rails, titanium matt wheels and Audi sound.
nearly 3 months without a sniff of anything is a bit of a mugging off I feel.

Deposit to register interest and establish in the queue put down 3 months ago order accepted week 1 of April.
My paperwork doesn't have an order number on it? My dealer said that he would update me with BW on Tuesday. Should I ask for it then?

Yeah they aren't particularly forthcoming with the order number and it doesn't appear on any order paperwork. They should give it to you no issues.

Both you and Monopole buying through Basingstoke aren't you? My experience of them, I'm sorry to say, was very poor. I'd be in there like a shot if it was me...... I cancelled an order with them, because of poor customer service. They took ages to refund the deposit on my Mk3 TTS, when it became abundantly clear that the expected delivery dates for it which they were suggesting, were totally unrealistic.
When I was scoping the RS3 order, they frankly didn't seem interested. Offered me below what WBAC.com was offering, and when I challenged them they said, well you wouldn't get that from a Audi dealer (I got a lot more in PX actually!).
Ask them for a copy of the CLI screen for you car. It should give you the order number and staus codes. I had mine on the 20th April. If you aren't getting the support you want - push harder.
I really hope it is just a hiccup for you, but it sounds a bit odd that you have both ordered through Basingstoke...

I got that screenshot back in April and it says order status P, Not Yet Accepted. But from yourAudi site, it says my order has subsequently been accepted at the factory (but what does that really mean then...?). Email from Basi today with no update - same as it was nearly 2 weeks ago, so I am clueless right now.

Thank you for the comprehensive reply. I will do as you say and see what happens. I'm waiting for a Q3 as well which is sliding ever more to the right. I want to believe in them as I've had nothing but excellent service from them. It is however frustrating to see BWs being banded around when as monopole says, no update for weeks.....

You won't find any correlation. People that have had pre-orders since Dec (so factory order placed ASAP in April) still don't have a BW, equally, people who ordered last week have a BW 20something. It's all about the spec and what fit's into the factory production line of parts availability, order time plays very little role (especially on a new model like this).
@Tom P, how is your order progressing? Any luck with the yourAudi site?

Interesting Jose - I think you must be right. Anyone see what sort of specs are going to be made first? I wonder if Nardos get made first because Audi don't need to order any paint. Or do non-sunroofs come first to save them getting the can openers out?

Im Nardo with no sunroof and no BW having paid a deposit with the dealer in Jan and apparently placing the order with Audi on the first day the dealer was able to, So forget that theory
I put down my deposit in December and have been given a build week of 39. Doesn't seem to be much logic in it.
I suspect that your order would have arrived at Audi AG at the same time as everybody else's on the 16/17th Aoril, being held by the dealer until it could be submitted.
Yeah, so I believe. Aberdeen Audi told me they are given so many build week slots for the model and as I was the first to get my deposit in, I have the first build slot. So I assume I will be the first RS3 to come out of that dealer.

They will have placed your order first, but the factory decides when it comes out. There were 3 orders placed before mine at my dealer yet I've got the first build slot, so right now will be the first delivery from my dealer.
