Stupidly misjudged a narrow driveway and scraped the driver's side S-line bumper on a pillar. What are the options available to me? Should I take it to a local Audi garage, or are there cheaper places that will be able to replace/respray the bumper just as good?

Companies like chipsaway can sort that out, I reckon it'll cost about £200ish
I used them on my old Mercedes, similar kind of damage, perfect job once they finished.

Although it always depends on who you get

Ouch, obviously you will get it done properly, but to make it look a bit better until then try going over it with WD40. Honestly it does hide it to a degree...certainly better than it is now.

I was going to give the car a good wash and see if that helps remove some of the marks. Should I do the WD40 before or after washing?

I'd do it after....Obviously it's not going to work miracles, but it should be a bit better. Post an after shot for others to see.

Watch this for an idea

Only problem with that is that you may get putting in the surface of any respray. WD leaves deposits of silicone-like residue which are almost impossible to completely remove. So when you get it sprayed let them know what you did so they can gun wash the panel even more than usual!

If I was you I'd get a good polish and a da polisher and polish it

Looks better than it did mate, as said above it will do until you get a 100% fix :)
