That's interesting. When my car car went in to the dealers recently they did a Audi Health Check and gave the tyre depth readings for each tyre and also quoted a figure of £121.18 each to replace the tyres with the same as on the car. My usual tyre depot have quoted £87.00 fully fitted for the same tyres so perhaps I will ask the dealer if they are prepared to match it.Don't forget that Audi are now offering to match any tyre replacement cost including fitting and balancing so seems a no brainier not to use them.
Is £87 a pretty good deal? I had to replace a tyre (after 1000 miles!) due to pot hole damage. That's interesting. The same tyre depot quotes a fully fiited price of £80 for a Pirelli Cinturato P7 225/45R17 91W.Is £87 a pretty good deal? I had to replace a tyre (after 1000 miles!) due to pot hole damage.
My local tyre dealer charged £100 all in. I thought that was pretty good - Cinturato.
£175inc VAT, from Grimsby Audi if this helps anyoneWhich dealers are offering the sub £200 price on the oil service please?
Seems odd you have to pay for that, I've never been asked to pay for insurance before and have had to keep a hire car for 6 days on short notice in the past!I was quoted £277 for an oil change and inspection (Audi in Bromley). I've just hit 18,000 miles on the clock. This will be covered by the £399 service plan I took out when I bought the car which covers me for 3 years.
Have to pay £21 for insurance on the car they are lending me though which I'm not happy about ;(
My bill was £330 @ Essex Audi yesterday for the first service at 19,500 miles/12months. So, not too bad and they gave me a decent A6 for the day. That equates to £26 a month, so still working out cheaper than the service plan I was offered. Time will tell if that works out, but only my last two Audis, pay as you go was the better option for me. Tyres have worn well, still got 5mm on all four. My only gripe was being kept waiting around while their service staff turned up late for work.
Most dealers have a daily hire rate hidden in the small print but this has always been written off for meSeems odd you have to pay for that, I've never been asked to pay for insurance before and have had to keep a hire car for 6 days on short notice in the past!
Guess I've always been lucky there to then! Nice to know!Mot dealers

Interestingly I was changed just about the same at Huntingdon Audi - £276.68 for my first service at 18,150 miles.I was quoted £277 for an oil change and inspection (Audi in Bromley). I am goin to take the Audi £25/month for three years for my S3 to cover all service and maintenance and first MOT and reckon i will be better off on the service contract especially if i opt for fixed service interval. How much were you quoted for a service contract?
Sounds about right if you're on the standard service, 10k or anually.
Does longlife servicing still apply now? I think thats as and when, so could be 20k miles/2 years?
