Audi app shows car in uk form this morning. Schelde Highway arrived at 22:06 in Grimsby last night so she could have been on that ship?

Have to say it's been a quick trip from being built to arriving in the uk!

Nice! Mine doesn't show 'In UK' yet, must be on the next ship!
 
According to audi website my bw20 car has been built and has left Ingolstadt!

All I get is "server unavailable, please try later" :sob: wonder if that means it's not built yet.
 
Mines showing On it's way and Your Audi has left Ingolstadt... Build finished on Friday so would expect it to be in the UK this week
 
Anyone know how we can get vin number..?

Believe car now in Grinsby awaiting transportation.

Strange how cars built virtually next to each other land up on different ships.
 
Not sure about the vin...

I would guess or hoping the app hasn't updated for me and it's likely they are on the same ship.
 
Just had a call from my dealer - My car is on the African Highway and according to Marine Traffic it's half way across :D
 
Car now on way to dealer - very quick..........

Mine is now on its way to Emden. It's got a slightly longer journey as its coming from gyor.

It's been a long 7 month wait but it's almost over
 
Just been told mine is built and on it's way to Emden. Off to the US middle of next week for 10 days, hopefully the car will be ready for collection when I get home.
 
On the way to dealers!!

What's the latest on your @Martha ? What dealer is it going to, to give me an idea on transport times?

Vins - according to website car on way to dealer since 12 May Tuesday. Arrived in UK 12 May

However, on phoning Audi customer services told still in Grimsby port and should be with dealer by end of May.

This means app/ website not accurate which questions its purpose.

I think dealer by end of May is a bit pessimistic. Surely it's only a matter of a few days by lorry from port from Grimsby to dealer.

Will keep you updated.

Car is going to Coventry Audi. Can't really complain about them, but a few more updates than I have had would have been appreciated.

Vins where is your car going?

Also anyone have any idea what I need on pick up, r.g. Mm I cables.
 
I had the same update yesterday. Called the dealer and they said its waiting to be transported but they don't work weekends :( The website said its on the way...

Mine is going to Shrewsbury Audi and he was a little more optimistic! He said I should have it towards the end of next week but not to get my hopes up due to the bank holiday.
 
I wouldn't imagine it would be much more than a week really, probably playing safe by saying end of May. Coventry and Shrewsbury are relatively near, so would have thought both arriving about same time.

Does the dealer and youraudi systems not tie into the same backend system?

My youraudi says my car is now in quality control having gone through the assembly stage, but my dealer emailed today to say it's still scheduled for production this week?
 
Mine was built a week early, confirmed with customer service. Still waiting for over a week for it to be shipped though

Confirmed min at delaer today. Probably arrived yesterday - just over two weeks from build to reaching dealer whcih is quite quick1

Mine is at Grimsby and ready to ship to my dealer. Looks like I will be finally picking it up next week
 
Me too, at Grimbsy waiting shipment so should pick up next week.

As for the question above, my dealer and the Audiapp were saying different things
 
Confirmed today on computer as arrived. Delaer phoned after work to say car avaialble form next week. Believe it has arrived at PDI centre, then once they know date of collection will get it ready. Presume they won't make arrangements to register the car until they know date? If I can't collect unmtil June don't want it registered until June.

We're almost there! Mine is PDI'd at the dealers and I've already had my 15 plate reg number :)

Just waiting for the phone call at the end of this week or next! Damn bank holiday!
 
Good news! Our cars arrived same day it seems!
 
THat's quick - I wouldn't hav been able to get my car until next week, but am busy so will wait.
 
Yes, picked up this morning and drove back to North Wales :) Great machine! So quick and feels tight, love it!!

Only photos I've got as she's not been cleaned yet!

Wow, looks lovely, Can't get enough of sepang. Although I am slighty bias having one on order. What are you first impressions?

Which part of North Wales are you from as I am up in north west wales quite often.

First impressions are, it's a great place to be! The power is very instant and it feel smoothly quick. It's not quite rough and ready and loud fast but that's not the type of car it is. All in all, I love it and feel I made the right choice in every extra, colour and gearbox.

I got an iPhone 5S cable, the new type but they will give you what ever really. I had the small metal looking keying with the Audi logo, also a hot drinks mug :D I'm from Abersoch in North Wales, a village on the other side of Pwllheli.
