Been looking for some new tires and are torn between eagle f1 asymmetric 2 or vredestein ultrac sessanta.

Also I use as a daily and really don't know if I should get soft, M , XL what's the difference thx

I've got Bridgestone RE050A on the fronts and just replaced my rears for Eagle F1's XL.
I find both are a great tyre. Slightly prefer the Eagle F1's though.

I bought the XL tyres because they were only £2 per tyre more and they have a lower rolling resistance and better fuel economy rating.

That's my problem I really don't know what the dif fence is between xl, med ,soft so on anyone help I use my car daily so want to make the correct choise that's all thx

I'm running Eagle F1s, really happy with them.

Ultrac Sessantas are a a very soft tyre, in my experience they lasted around 8k and that's not caning it around corners. Either Goodyear Eagle F1's or Michilin Pilot Sport 3's are your best bet.

thanks guys XL it is then if I carnt get med or soft.
eagle f1s seem to be best bet then

XL stands for extra load, usually for heavier cars, I believe it denotes stiffer side walls, which will be fine on the S3, as they are quite heavy.

I have conti sport5's. They saved my life when someone pulled into my lane and I zig zagged across the dual carriageway about 8 times

Cant go wrong with Continental sport contact, currently have sc3's, everything you want (low noise, good ratings etc) for £98 inc fitting last time i checked on black circles, or even ''asda tyres'' now lol

P.s- you will find most 'tires' in america & most 'tyres' in uk/ europe ! :p
