34,500 miles, bought new from Audi, FSH, one bearing on front wheel very noisy and needs replacing, the other side will need doing in the future (according to audi dealer). Should AUDI UK pick up the entire cost or simply a goodwill gesture?
A3 2011 1968cc tdi Bearings gone at 34,500 miles!

Try Audi UK see what they say,but I guess the answer would be no seeing as it,s a wear item.I have been told by my local Audi service manager that it is quite common for the front bearings to go on the A3. They failed on my car but were replaced under warranty as I had only bought it used from dealer 2 months earlier.. (is the car still under main dealer extended warranty?) ps the mileage on my car at the time was 65000 mls..good luck Mate

I would get tough with Audi UK, wear item or not, I would be expecting more than that out of a wheel bearing especially on a premium brand.

Press for everything you can but our bearings are sh1t. Looking through my car's history it had the same side (forget which) done twice under warranty!
Looks like I have done it thanks to you all. Next week two bearings replaced foc! Very much appreciate your help on this!
