Hi All,

Need some help had my S3 for just under 3 years and the misses is hating my SMF as the pedal is too heavy and wanting DSG. My S3 is Revo Stage 2+.

So whats next. I have upto £32k to spend and really unsure what to do next. So far im swaying towards the S4/S5 as my boss has a revo Stage 1+ S5 and its so quick and easy to drive, but i find the seating position abit long if that make sense.

Also speaking to Audi they are swaying me to buy a brand new one as my monthly repayments will be less but with a higher ballon payment.

What are peoples opinion on which car i should go with and if it should be used or new?

Thanks

Ryan

Have you seen what the prices are on the new TT coupe? It's great fun to drive with the S-Tronic and quattro, plus the interior is amazing

Thanks for all the advise. Would you go RS3 over S4?

RS6 is a lot of car for the money but ferociously thirsty, and parts etc cost a huge amount, esp that gearbox if anything goes wrong.

RS3 has the sound,as does the TT-RS,and both would be fun,as well as less costly to run.

S4 is a good car,RS5 is better,etc etc.

Personally I'd stay away from the RS6 V10 unless you have very deep pockets.

RS3 is a great all round package. Superb engine. 4 doors. Decent boot. Big tuning potential and looks good. Surprisingly good on fuel as well, with your budget you could get a flawless low mileage one with warranty with money to spare.

The thing is with the S4 is that once you have done the pulley and stage 2 map that's where the engine tuning pretty much stops (approx 500bhp but it weighs 1700kg+)..... It's a tough call and probably more dependent on how many miles you do and which you prefer the look of.

I'm selling a 2007 Audi A3 2.0 TDI Quattro with 71,000 on the clock for a measly £31,500,00. Bargain! :lick:

Haha, only joking. I'd be going with an RS3 though, unless you have any plans of starting a family or already have one then I'd be looking a bit bigger, perhaps a SQ5? A remap could see them close to 380BHP-400BHP I expect.

LOL the diesel sounds interesting :) I have just bought my first house and in the future we are planning to have kids. I think my next car is going to be a S4 black edition with all the addons :) Audi at the moment are doing extremely good deals on them.

I've been thinking about a new Audi recently, I'd quite like an Audi rs3 but I'm a little disappointed with it as I think it doesn't look like a £45 000 car. But now I'm thinking about a r8 about a 57 plate. Around £45 - £50 k. Serving not a problem as i have family can do etc. but it's just a thought I've got
