You can still get upto date adaptors to fit modern smart phones for the Audi hands free system..i think?:think:
 
indeed, i believe there is even a iphone 5s one. not sure if they do a 6.

The previous owner of my car had it specced with this system he had it fitted with an iphone base plate and said it was brilliant because it instantly connected with the car and also kept it charged also no wires on show etc.. The phone I have is a Sony Experia (old phone:() so doesn,t fit the adaptor, tried asking Audi for adaptor to fit my phone...no joy:(
