Im looking to fit these to my Avant, as sick of having to keep jumping out when reversing to make sure I dont hit anything!

I remember seeing there is a kit (cobra?) which is identical to the Audi OEM kit? Any info or ebay links would be great.

And am I right in thinking that the holes are already marked on the back of the bumper, making fitting easy?

I have the cobra kit fitted to mine and is very responsive. Got a cheaper ebay kit on the wifes Golf and it is not as good in my opinion and will change it to the Cobra kit when time and finances allow.........it is just a lot slower to respond in comparison to the Cobra stuff

My kit is the Cobra 0258 which has the smaller sensors.........the 0158 has the larger sensors and is rebranded by Audi.

Thanks for the info. Any difference in the sensor sizes to the operation or fitting to the bumper?

The 0258 sensors look more OEM and a lot tidier compared to the 0158

Here are mine..........old pic:

I just used a pre-painted parking sensors kit from eBay, was under £15 delivered, due to the age, mileage of my car I didn't feel the need to buy anything else.

Good evening, yes it was a kit where there was several colours to choose from including two shades of silver, they are just the type that beep, I fitted the speaker under the plastic near the rear passenger headrest and can hear it fine.

I fitted them to my Cab, very handy. Make sure you get the drill size correct for the sensors so they are a very snug fit.

The cobra R0394 flush mount from the rear sensors are really good and look factory fit. Bumper is pre-marked and make sure buy the cobra hole cutter for perfect. The other good ones are what I have on my Quattro sport are the steelmate PTS400EX OE Which are practically indentical to the cobra and come with a hole cutter. Believe cheaper too.

Maybe cabs are different, but saloon was with faint circles and a cross marking the centre
