New 2015 RS3!!!

def the sport exhaust. What my ttrs would sound like idling and that had the sports exhaust fitted

I think I'm going to give it a miss and go down the retrofit route... Can't be that hard to sort out, it's just a lump of metal

You will need a sports back box which will me majorly expensive to source id imagine. I think previous sports exhausts had a silencer removed so may involved cutting open the back box

Not recommended on a brand new 45k motor

I had the Audi sports exhaust fitted

Oh right, I didn't realise Audi had an optional sports exhaust on the ttrs. I'm assuming there was one for the rs3 8p aswell then?

How much did that set you back then?

Would you recommend it?

Wasn't available on rs3, was £750. Definitely! Sounded brilliant, I had it paired with miltek bypass pipes and it sounded great!

Wow sounds amazing on that black RS in the clip. Definitely the Sports exhaust as you can hear the valves opening. So glad I've specced it now. I apologise to my neighbours in advance

video removed ??

missed that !

tbh I am not that hung up about the exhaust any more as surely the standard fit exhaust will provide a nice sound on its own merit.
With this being an 'RS' car it has gotta sound better than any S car I have had previous ie TTS and S5 so should be a step up either way - yeah ?
Plus I am a little concerned if the sports exhaust is too intrusive for general day to day driving or motorway runs.

Then there is the mag ride thing of course which I just don't want - forcing us to buy a £1k option I don't want is poor on Audi's part imo.
But I do agree that if the sales of mag ride has been low on the S3 and they want to shift them, this is a good way to do it.

If I am able to hear both at some stage before ordering 'maybe' I will be swayed but it would have to be amazing to make me opt for it - with mag ride too.

glad i didn't opt for the black wheel (borderline going to, but went for the titanium "wider fronts" instead), they are just to garish for my liking.

Have you gone for the Daytona grey?

I have gone for Daytona (again) and also glad I went titanium wheels not black after seeing those pics :)

I went for the standard ( non diamond cut) alloy rotors - as I'll be keeping the car for 5 years I'm sure to have at least one wheel/kerb interface which will be easier to manage with std alloys

Agreed ... The black alloys just don't look right do they.

Standard or titanium for me without question.

Been in touch with the dealer and mines at build week 36.

I don't know, daytona grey or black with some photoshop effect?

Photo was titled: Wolf in wolf's clothing

And the virtual cockpit on the new TT is awful for passengers. You can't see it from the passenger seat. It was the reason I cancelled my TTS order. Put an auxiliary display (pop up like the A3 when required) would be a winner.

Aren't they part of the RS styling pack with the Red vents and seat belts?

Yes I believe they are. Was hoping the RS3 wasn't as big as that on the mats but nevertheless it is what it is

Are the red vents available to order now or will they come along with the buckets?

They are part of the RS3 styling pack along with mats and red edges to the seat belts and (Mono.pur)

so whats the consensus on the red vent accents on a sepang? I can see it working on a nardo or a glacier but I'm not sure on a blue. same question with the red callipers really.
