Performance tweak., 2.7 le mans

Hi, what basic tweaks for things to look out for are there for this type of engine. Its odd by my friends car sounds meatier. yet to find out if its been modyfied. cheers

induction. de cat . cat back exhaust. obviously remap for more forced air which creates more noise too. depends how far you want to go

thankyou, ive looked at the remap. im also making sure its all tiptop first with fuel and air filters etc. start with a sound base

Hi Lee,

Once you have ascertained that the car is solid, I would thoroughly reccommend a good remap. That 6cylinder engine is ripe for a lovely smooth upgrade and the extra power and smoothness really helps turn the car from a very big and heavy car, into something which feels much lighter and more nimble, yet retains its luxury and comfortable abilities. Just be sure to get a good one, from a very reliable dealer!

hi yes, ive been told this is wise, seen ecopower do it for 185 and its a proper remap rather than a basic. be nice to get more power out of it and in turn better fuel apperantly. thanks for confirming, looks like you have same car in photo
