is anyone usin Cree's in their fogs? I am looking for a nice white light to match my xenons but with a decent light output also, I have tried led's but the light output is rubbish, I don't particularly want a blue coloured bulb in it so wonder if Cree's are my answer but as they are quite a bit dearer than normal bulbs I would like to see some proven ones so what you got?
Cheers
Matt

I wish I had more insight into this but I do know that 'Cree's are supposed to be the business. The output is a lot brighter but am drawing my experiences from my boss and his fascination with 'Cree' flashlights which have excellent luminosity.

Go on..be the first to purchase a set and report back. I'll follow suit as Ive been eyeballing a set on ebay for my fogs:D

I use them in my reverse lights and they are much better than normal bulbs and a better output than a led I tried previous but as there is such a range in price I wonder what the difference is.

I have a set of super bright LED reverse lights which are great.
Again, speaking vicariously through my boss (who is a 'CREE' expert) the reason in big difference between prices for these are as follows;
- 'official' cree are quite pricey due to the popularity and branding.
- 'knock off' cree are a lot cheaper but often the quality is just as good
- The expensive ones, usually have higher output but don't last as long

That tells me to buy cheaper ones and replace if neede ( something I don't normally do) I got mine from T8ups on here and they have been great.

Im currently using cree led fog lights in my audi a4 b7. Theyre brilliant a nice white light output that matches my 5000k hids.

Any links to the ones you are using?
The link to the ones i am using has expired.
The link below is the type of cree leds that i am using in the car. Mine showed up with errors therefore had to add resistors in the circuit. Aslong as you have no errors on the dash once you have them installed your good to go.

Hope this helps.

Im using an led main beam bulb. Itso like a hid kit except gives better light. Similar to this item on ebay 231419711256 (copy into ebay search) ive had no problems althpugh they needed resistors
