ESP light on

Hi I've just bought an Audi A3 2Lt tdi Quattro, firstly I bought this with the n/s/r wheel binding and ABS light on, I carried out a diagnostic check and as I thought I found the code 0122 wheel speed sensor rear left and 030a steering wheel angle sensor...after fixing the calliper and renewing the abs sensor I erased all the codes and it was driving great then the esp light has come on after a few days codes now giving 052C can message 4wheel drive no signal and 051D power steering control unit no signal. Can anyone help with this. Cheers
 
Is the esp light on solid all the time? It may be worth checking the seal on your haldex controller for corrosion. Google auto fault finder. Some interesting stuff on their website.
 
Hi Zerocool sorry should have said it is intermittent although it is on more than it is off.
 
Might still be worth checking it for corrosion. Have you got 4wd? Does it wheel spin at all?
 
Cheers mate, it does have 4 wheel drive and not wheel spinning at all but will check out that controller today.
 
Hi Zerocool checked out controller today and no rust however esp light now off.
 
Did you take it off and check the seal for corrosion?
 
Mines always turned off when I enter car so light is always showing! My fault it needs a new brake switch but as it's 4wd I like it being off all the time more fun! Just one issue is it will struggle to fail mot without it but will deal with that closer to the time!
 
Will take it off today never thought of the seal being perished cheers for the heads up.
