Anchor point child seat

I have retrofitted isofix and just bought an isofix grp2-3 child car seat. It also has a top tether installation where it clips to an anchor point in the car.

I can't seem to locate mine. PLS note the rear seat firewall is fixed.

Anyone know where it maybe?
 
Pretty certain our B6 don't have a top anchor point. My avant certainly doesn't.

The top anchor only became a standard in 2011 apparently so we are pretty much restricted to isofix bases with a floor leg. That's what I'll be going for when I've fitted the bars.
 
That makes sense. But in the stupid manual it says in compatible with a4 2002+. Clearly not.
 
Incompatible? As in not compatible. Or states it is? Maybe it can be used without the top tether?
 
Sorry manual says it is compatible but I have no tether anchor mount and must be used with this mount. So it's clearly not compatible.
 
my 2011 a3 doesn't have this. called into audi before i bought a new seat and they confirmed that only within the last year Audi have started fitting top tether as standard.
