Morning everyone just started my car everything was fine i use v power from shell and i went to fill up from shell but no v power available so used regular unleaded as soon as i started again it was misfiring. Pulled all coil packs out one by one with engine started and one of the coil packs no.2 didnt change tone of engine so swapped with no.3 and same so i guess coil pack failed was this a coincidence or the cheap fuel caused this??

Have you still got the original coil packs from factory on your car? Has your car been remapped?

Car is stock and and 6 months ago a coil pack went bust also and rung audi as they had recall but it had already been done say 2 failed now withing 6 months. So instead of changing 1 i think am going to change all 4 to 2.0tfsi red top coil packa

Remember you need the spark plugs gapped to 1mm for tfsi coil packs

You could try 10 mm but your misfire might get worse

1 mm mate I run 0.7 gap on my standard coil packs

Problem fixed one coil pack was dead and the other was weak so 2 gone same time luckily one of my family member own the cheapish leon cupra r and he upgraded to tfsi coilpacks and had oem ones in shed :)
