Hi all, I have an S4 avant with avus wheels, and without flicking through loads of threads, is there any chance people can post a pic and name what wheels they have so searching for the right shoes is easier? :)

I'm after ideas as I want to lose the avus wheels, and there's far too many, so much so my eyes hurt! I like the look of the new Bola wheels, anybody got some on?

If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated

Mark

i'd like to see a few as well i could be on the look out for some

Loved S4 avus, had them on my old car
18", can't remember the rest of the specs

Then went to 19" Speedlines, 8.5j et48, spacers fitted in the pics.

Brief spell on Mercedes Alioth for winter, 18"x8.5j.

Team Dynamics Imola on my current car, 19x8.5j, ET35

Tried these on for 10mins then put them up for sale, 19x8, ET35, OZ Superleggera 3 piece splits.

Just sold these, Audi A8 9 Spokes, 20x8.5j, ET45 with spacers

Currently sitting on these, Audi Speedlines, 20x8.5j, ET33

Just ordered new ones so will update soon...

19 inch Axe CS lite - staggered set: front 8.5j ET40 rear 9,5j ET40
- fronts needed 3-5mm spacer as the spokes were making contact with the calipers.

love the calipers:cool::icon thumright:, and those are not tyres, more like just strip of flat rubber.

Are the sport lines going? ;) price?

I didn't actually drive on them, pretty sure the tyres were flat but really just wanted to check offsets etc. His are 8js with 215s but I've ordered 8.5s so can run a slightly beefier tyre, prob go for 235s.
Speedlines have been for sale for a while now, think they're still in the classifieds somewhere. I had pretty much decided to keep them as I sold my other wheels and they're far too rare a wheel to sell for peanuts, love them too.

Mine are 20x 7.5j

Not sure on the offset think it's 35-40

Tyre size is 225/30/20

Just stuck my OEM 19's on for the Summer running Kumho Ecsta 235/35's. I have since been reliably'ish informed that these are not RS4 wheels but RS4 style for the A6. Either way a lot better than those 17's.

Cheers

That's the one mate stay in overtown they are going in on Monday for a return/colour change don't want any going/bright work on it going dark .

It's actually amazing how light the OZs are, just hope they are as strong as they are supposed to be. Not actually weighed them, will wait till I get mine with the tyres on but even just handling/fitting my mates ones there's a considerable difference to the A8s and Speedlines. I had been looking at 2nd hand ones but they were still expensive and with a bit shopping around in Europe plus the decent exchange rate it made sense to buy new, that's my excuses anyway!!
I'm really hoping I'll be content with these wheels, I've never been 100% blown away with any of the others but I am so far with the OZs, hope it stays that way!!

Ajax-wheels
Me-underwear......

Red body and black wheels as on craigs ,it 's a combination that allways looks the dingle dongles, well for me that is.
My duke is corse rosso red with satin black mag wheels , also looks spot on....

Like that!!

Funny thing is I used to hate dark wheels, was only ever interested in bright silver but now I really like them. I'm not so keen on totally black wheels tho, I think you lose a lot of the detail on the wheel and it sort of reminds me of a cheap diy refurb. I loved the anthracite colour on my A8s, dark but had a bright sparkle which lightened them when the sun hit them. OZs I've ordered are Matt Graphite so will see what they look like, probably get kerbed at some stage so might go for the anthracite again.

Cheers rob, they're a pearlescent black but appear anthracite in the sun and darken off depending on which light you catch them in. It's a new powder coat we got in before Xmas. Gonna be trialing a carbon fibre hydro dip next

Very nice they're what I would like to have on mine. Is your car standard suspension set up or is it dropped a little?
