Do not use DATSC in South Wales, read there link below clearly says "free assessment " took the car there looked at it charged my £58 after the fact, I even asked if there was a charge before they did it !

So they say " I think there is a problem but we do not work on them, we do not have the tools" their advert implies they are the guys for dsg.

Don't pay them, (unless you already did), it says free, so it should be free!

If you paid by credit card, phone them and get it refunded, they'll get it back off them, and if you need a reason, say you felt intimidated/uncomfortable so paid.

How misleading is that website then, if they the specialists don't have the tools then who the hell would. I'd be kicking off to trading standards about that charge as well!

Got a refund from them.

Looks like it was me not letting it select reverse before trying to move. Its spot on.

Should think so too!

So just a bit quick off the mark trying to reserve then? It does seem these boxes like a little wait...glad to hear it's nothing more serious

Quite interesting actually, I always thought mine was quite slow from selecting reverse to it actually doing anything. I've never questioned it other than in my own mind, just thought it was normal - but it is quite slow now I come to think about it. At least I know its normal and am not alone!
