So I got out of performance cars a few years ago after a very long line culminating in a 360 hp mk5 gti dsg.

Family and work meant I changed tack and gave it up.

BUT! It never really leaves you. So I was considering a toy when I chanced across this

I had the funds and it had the right bits on it for me whilst being a useable car. So I bought it. Ran it for 2 days then tracked it at combe where it died. It got trailered to bills aka Badger5 for a diagnosis!

So to cut a long story short it went in for a turbo rebuild and came out with a new spec turbo, manifold,valves,dp etc etc etc!

Very much so. Decided to run it to the airport this morning. On actuator pressure it's fun! Took the wife out yesterday, she swore at me!
 
Is this the one with red 996T brakes that I've seen a few times?

Looked very nice when I saw it if so :)

As for numbers the mods done have caused a larger intercooler to be purchased due to high temps.it's more than it was before by a good 20%. No graphs yet but bills told me a figure and that's good enough! I'm sure a graph will come once it has cooler inlet charge.

So intercooler to fit and then we'll see before round 2 of mods.

Spec is 1.9 (low comp) with built bottom end.large port (ported) head with supertech valves. Custom tubular manifold with gt 3071 hta turbo, 3" dp. wmi

Car has kw3s,18" dynamics wheels, Porsche turbo brakes,blue haldex controller.

As for bumper it was done by the previous owner. I'll take some pictures when it's getting 're cut.
 
New intercooler has turned up at home. Toyosports 3" one. Trouble is I'm currently based in Norway for a few months so I'll try and get the bumper off for a line up.

That works, I don't have fogs due to old intercooler set up. Thanks

So I've only really been using this to commute to the airport and back but I have a few things to sort. The thermostat seems to be sticking as unless Chou give it loads the temp hovers around 75-80. The exhaust now vibrates when hot on something. Could be broken rubbers or a bit of mis alignment but also the engine mountings need uprating as there shot and it produces a big slug of torque now!.
