Every couple of days my engine management light will come on and stay on for a day or 2 and then turn back off , car drives fine, no limp mode etc, recently drove the car 200miles with no issue

Its an Audi A4 2.0TDi 2010 B8
I ran vag-com but cant get an accurate diagnosis on what the 4 problems are and how to resolve
any help is greatly appreciated!!

Fault 1 - I have never owned a car with a DPF, but I have read that the pressure sensor on the DPF is a known weak point and they fail prematurely.

Fault 2 - it's the little rocker switch on the top of the wiper stalk. It interferes with wiper operation. I get it from time to time for a few seconds and then all is well.

Fault 3 - no idea, clear it and see if it comes back

Fault 4 - I would Go into Applications of VCDS and go into Optical Bus Diagnostics and click Start. That checks the fiber optic cables around the car - if they were a bit ********, you would get an communications fault code. That or one of the nav parts has failed.

Thanks!!

I know the sensor needs changing now

I haven't noticed any problem with the rocker switch so il test it out

I've cleared the fault and it does come back, although since I have noticed that one of the rear windows switches does work from the back just the front

I will do the optical tests and post result

Cheers

Rocker switch - you won't know there's a problem until you push the stalk down to wipe/towards you to wash and nothing happens. It's a very brief thing, you may not even notice, but the car does. If you haven't noticed anything, delete the code and ignore it until you have a problem.

My power tailgate has a permanent fault saying EEPROM error, but it works fine just as it should, so I ignore it.

The only one you really need to worry about and should get sorted ASAP is the DPF pressure sensor. If this isn't working properly the car won't be able to measure the amount of soot in the DPF accurately and may not regenerate at the correct time or properly. This may lead to future DPF issues.
The others look annoying but not terminal.

Yeah I'm getting booked in to do sensor on Wednesday as have read how much it can cost if ignored
