Hi, just joined the forum, just collected my new Audi A5 BE+ last week, lovely car, opted for the rotors, easy to keep clean, here are a few pics. ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Hi Sandra, i'm located on the Llyn peninsula North Wales,i'm glad you like the car, i orderd it from Shane at Sheffield Audi the beginning of Febuary but before the car was delivered Shane had moved on to another Audi dealership, so i dealt with Rob when i went to collect the car, a very helpfull gentleman, this is the third audi i have bought from Sheffield Audi, although it's 250 miles away i got a better deal than from my local audi dealer

Sepang is one of my favourite Audi colours, and don't think you can go wrong with rotors, IMO the best wheel Audi has in their range, although I do like the V spokes on the RS5.

Thanks JG, i think I made a wise choice with the sepang, because we live in quite a rural part of North Wales not many A5s about, so the sepang blue does turn a few heads, and you get quite a few compliments about the car, which is nice, don't think there is a A5 sepang within 20 miles from here. Jeff

My mate used to have a S5 in sepang, looked good but even better when the sun hit it, didn't happen very often though as we live in Scotland, lol.

Thanks, the BE+ is a lovely car, there is a new model A5 due for the end of 2016, be interesting to see how they will improve this lovely car.:idea:

Great looking car and the colour has convinced me to go for the same Sepang Blue. Like you, I think that the black multi V wheels look like a little "post add on". Living in Scotland I have not seen many Sepang Blues and when the sun does shine, I hope it looks as good as yours.

Thanks Michael for the comments, you can't go wrong with the Sepang blue, it's a lovely colour, it doesn't show the dirt as much as the white which I had previously, if you like the inside of your wheels clean like me, go for the rotors, so easy to keep clean. Maybe i'm to fussy ?. When are you thinking of ordering your car, and which other colour where you thinking of taking ?

Hi Jeff,

It looks as if I will be placing my order tomorrow. it was supposed to be today but the new engine (that 190 BHP tdi) and the car options don't match. There seams to be a misalignment with Audi order placing systems. Going for a sportback quattro, with rotors. like you I like to keep the car looking clean and tidy. Will be adding lighting pack and damper control. All wrapped in Sepang Blue. It looks like a late July /early August delivery date. So will need to keep patient. What other goodies are worth adding?

Not sure what other goodies you can add on your new car, Audi have added sat nav, heated seats, cruise control, rear spoiler as standard now on the BE+, you had to buy them as extras on the old BE, I opted for the LED lighting pack on mine, it does look nice after dark, I was thinking about the folding mirrors, but my mate said if you park a lot on narrow streets ok go for them, if not,don't bother the car looks a lot nicer parked up with the mirrors out. As soon as youv'e ordered your car you will be looking at the calender every week and will think July/ August is an eternity away, I was lucky, Shane at Sheffield Audi phoned every week just to say everything was on schedule, there's nothing worse than hearing nothing for weeks. The car will be sure to turn heads, you wil not be disapointed

Hi Jeff,

After a crisis of confidence, I finally put in my order for my new A5 BE+ today. Why the crisis? My wife did not like the look of the dark windows. She said it looked "chavy" However after some discussion and time spent on the Audi configerator. I stuck with the original choice. Your pictures were my main datum and a major influence in picking my combination. Thank you.

Now expect delivery end of July start of August.

A5 sportback BE+ Quattro 190 BHP
Sepang blue
Audi drive select
Advanced key
Interior light package

Just counting the days.

Good choice, the dark windows are the icing on the cake, wives ar not ALWAYS right, bet you can't wait now but at least the clock has started ticking, did you opt for the rotors or the y spoke black wheels ??. I guarantee you wherever you go with the car people will comment on how "WOW" your car lookes, can't wait to see the pics.

I should have added my wheel choice to the list. I went for rotors. Although you see them on almost all A4 & A5's, a bit like my current double spoke 5 stars that are everything from Q3 to Q7. They do look good.

I will keep you posted on its journey from Germany to Scotland.

I will also give you details of the extra bhp - up from my current 177 - when I get my hands on it. I do hope the additional 13 bhp, the Quattro system
and S-tronic gear box is noticeable.
