I'm running 19 inch wheels on my S3 8V with 235/35 tires. Does anyone know what tire pressure to use as its non standard? Perhaps a photo of the S3 saloon tire pressure sticker?

The tyre will say on the sidewall, if it doesn't, go on the tyre manufacturers website and it will tell you

Hmm. Couldn't see it on the sidewall or on their website. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 2 are the ones I've put on the car.

I guess you can put what you want... I'm have between 2,8 - 3,0 bar. Works fine... 3,0 they are quit hard.
2,8 is fine.

I have the same tires that you have.

If they're over inflated it will wear the tyres unevenly and the car will be prone to locking up under heavy braking. It will also be more prone to under steer. If they're under inflated then it will also cause uneven wear and have an adverse effect on the handling

Yeah I know... I usually have it as 2.8 bar. Over a year now. No unevenly wear or other issues.

Tyre Pressures include:

Front: 2.4 Bar 35 Psi
Rear: 2.2 Bar 32 Psi

If you have a Heavy Load / Full Passengers, it's 2.6 Bar 38 Psi all round.

It's on the Driver's Door on the side.

For what size of tires? Usually lower profile tires should have higher pressure...

Hi,

19" - As per the Thread Title.

235 / 35 / R19 91Y Extra Load Radial

Edited to add that these are Continentals.

Interesting.
My sticker is on the Door itself, not on the Door Frame.

Also, my "sticker" with all the information on looks nothing like that one.
Don't know how to load pictures otherwise I'd load a picture as well.

Mine is an A3 TDi (Cabrio) as opposed to an S3.
Could this be why there is a difference ??

You'd think the same tyre would have the same pressure required though.
My tyres appear ok though after 8 months i.e. wear, tread, etc on the pressures that my sticker indicates.

Interesting.
