Hey guys, i finally got my alloys on my car but am now looking at it thinking it needs lowering..

now ive never done this before on any car, as every time i go to do it i change my mind and get put off,

DPM, linked me to a set of 'eibach 35mm/30mm pro lowering springs', do you guys think this will make a difference to the look of the car?

the only real kicker is, i dont want to 'slam' it as ive heard people say, as i do alot of driving on crappy conditions, building sites etc,
And this may sound daft but will these be more resilient than the standard Audi ones that i probably have?

sorry for the million questions, this is a side of modding ive never done and want to learn about,
cheers!!!

Looks good like that to me.

Same alloys as I have and mine are 19" with 20mm standard sports suspension drop.

The lower you make it the more careful you'll have to be and the more of the road you'll feel.

Bad picture as I'm. Half on a curb lol, I don't even have the s line suspension so when it's parked flat it kinda looks a bit crappy

haha ok, send us a new one on a flat surface. You're probably right though, if it looks like that on a curb then it must be quite high.
The drive and look on a 20mm drop is quite nice.

Would you say 20mm is noticeable then mate? I'll start looking for something with a decent brand
Definetly needs something lol, will put a pic up later when I'm on my laptop

I put Eibach pro's on mine and it looks much better and also rides better .

I have been looking into the Eibach Sportlines 45mm/35mm, been hearing some good reviews!:)

Have a look for yourself :)

Thanks for that mate, I think I'll go for the same as yours, don't wanna go crazy low
Already lost an alloy due to a pothole already

Are they made by eibach?

im going H&R, S4 are 20mm lower stock so I'm told. The 30mm kit will only drop mine another 10mm.

Not too sure mate, it was the stock sports suspension that came with the car so haven't ever needed to check.

I do know that the Eibach pro set is a 30-35mm drop from standard, though.

I can strongly recommend the Bilstein B12 kit. I fitted a set of Eibach pro springs on my car initially and it helped the handling and looks of the car a lot as the car is an SE so is more 4 x 4 than an S-line.
The problem is the original SE shockers aren't really upto the job especially when pushing on a bit or when I have done the odd trackday. The standard S-Line items probably wouldn't be much better.
So fitted a B12 kit and this has transformed the handling. The springs in the B12 kit were exactly the same as what I already had on the car, So I was just changing the shocks.
The car handles and rides so much better than before, the ride is a bit harder but the car is very flat in the corners and there isn't the diving and lurching that you got before.
You can get B12 kits at very good prices off Fleabay in Germany.
