tdi exhaust

Plus one for this though I'm not interested in sound unless it makes it sound less diesel like. I never asked before as I asumed nothing to be gained from a big bore exhaust for oil burners. I do hope my assumption is incorrect.

Keeping an eye on this one :thumbs up:

Always a gain to be had , dpf , cats , surgery or removal of boxes and increase of bore .

Smash the cat cells out and backbox delete sounds good and cheap

They still sound quiet and refined with 2.5" and just a back box albeit a little more turbo whistle from an absent cat .

i've got a 140 tdi with a milltek from a 170 fitted, had to cut a bracket off the down pipe to get it to sit right but its on with no knocking, it's 2.5" system from the cat, twin exit with a center box, no noisier than standard but definitely gives better flow you can feel it pulling better over standard when you put it on,

hi i have the left only exit did you have this or did you cut the other side of the bumper to fit as the 1s have seen have dual exits .

yours looks good by the way

A body panel for £65? That's cheap for an Audi, in fact cheap for any car :hubbahubba:

You can use the rear exhaust hanger and heat shield from the 170bhp model and obviously the rear valance like the above car which you can get from an 170 s-line with the bigger lip or a smaller lip valance from an SE model. I plan to do the same myself.

Mine had the standard single exit '140' exhaust on it, which I replaced with this:

Get a nice sound off it, far nicer than I ever expected from a diesel to be honest. Keeps it fairly standard looking in that it just looks like a shiney 170 system now...... so its kinda the same but different haha!

For the valance, I cant remember the exact price - but I've a funny feeling its one of these parts which can be had just as cheap / cheaper if you go direct to Audi.

Part no: 8E0807521H

There is also a valance from the S4 which has wider cut outs, but I don't have that one to hand.
