Hi, I have just bought an A4 2.6 V6 and i am made up with it!! I have always been a ford man, had probably every ford model there is at some point! Best being the focus and fastest being my modded RS2000. I was looking for something that still had some power but was not a boy racer car, at 31 i thought i better grow up a bit!! I had never considerd an audi but i borowed a friends A4 1.9TDI avant for a trip to scotland and i was hooked! I originally wanted a 1.8T but the 2.6 came up and was an offer i couldnt refuse.
The car is great, its got 127k on the clock but it drives like a new car, really nice drive and got loads of room in the front and back, i thought a 2.6 would have more power but im happy with it and the V6 engine is very very nice, pulls smooth and sounds great.
The only down side i have is the previous owner for some reason put some 15inch OZ alloys on (195/65!) that really spoil the look of the car, so i have bought some RS4 replicas but im having a slight issue with them as some of you may know from my posts in the A4 B5 section.
I have seen some A4's with a rear spoiler on and im not sure about whether to put one of these on or just put on the lip spoiler, i just know i want to make it look a little bit more sporty, but subtle.
Found this site by chance searching for help with my wheels and i got to say im very impressed, i have found out loads of things just by searching the site, from things i didnt know about my car to the best non franchised garage near me, and the amount of help i have had with my wheels has been amazing!!
