I have a 2003-53 A4 CAB QUATTRO I have recently changed the dreaded front arms upper and lower, track rods and drop links etc and front /rear top mounts ...coilovers .... but now I have a little knocking noise , only happens over very small bumps and usually after going around a corner ie- steer to left or right ?.......i was thinking arb bushes but anyone had similar or advise?

Sounds like you've changed just about everything apart from them. CV joint maybe? I should just go round and check everything you've changed is good and tight.

Depends on how low you are, but a driveshaft may be knocking on the chassis leg

I developed a knock not long after changing all my front arms, turned out to be shocks, I think changing all the arms highlighted how bad the shocks were, done both shocks,B5 perches and new top mounts, all nice and smooth now.

Mine did this and swop arb for some power flex ones

You did charge the the strut before fitting by pushing down on them a few times to move the oil around

I've had a knock on the off side front of my avant for a while, I've changed drop links, arb's and front lower arms but I'm starting to suspect it's the cheap AP coilovers.

What coilies did you fit? I Had a weird one with a set of JOM coilovers I fitted to my old golf where the insert on one of the front legs wasn't wound in properly into its housing.

I fitted AP coilovers.

Did you get to the bottom of this one? Top mounts are often a culprit if you didn't do these when you changed the struts.

Be sure to check the subframe bolts, mine were a tad loose. If so, replace them with new stretch bolts.
