Fuel filter on 1.8t cabby , WOT a crappy design , never seen such a convoluted balls up of a design, great fun to try and get it out .

Loads of degrees and qualifications to work a CAD design computer but absolutely NO common sense , i bet they wear nappies as going to a toilet and getting all those muscles to work in tandem would be very confusing for them !
 
They draw straws and the last part is made to fit what area remains .

Academics seem devoid of common sense .
 
First remove stupid alloy bar which seems to have no purpose whatsoever as its as sturdy as toffee, then fight with handbrake cable , then undo rusty 3.5 mm alum rounded screw, then try and remove fuel pipes which have special no way are you getting me off clips, then try and get filter off without destroying the nasty plastic bracket made by some poor malaysian child.

Not easy, could be much easier if they did it the same as every other manufacturer with a simple bracket and enough pipe to drop the filter so you dont need a skin graft after trying to get enough grip on the pipes.
 
That would be like finding out Jimmy Saville was my father!:eek:

lol, i used to love them but with the price of diesel nowadays and the amount of grief modern diesels give you its just not worth having one unless you do high miles.
