Needing some assistance

I've recently got my cluster dis repaired on audi s3 8L and today reinserted the cluster in which the hazards came on and wouldn't turn off until i disconnected the battery. I reconnected the cluster once again and then reconnected the battery. The hazardous don't come on now but the immobiliser symbol (car image with a key) keeps on flashing and the car won't turn over with a sound in the engine bay as if the spark plugs are sparking. After 30 secs the battery symbol comes on.
Anyone got any ideas in how to solve. I've got a basic vagcom so will see if that comes up with anything.

Thanks in advance

Simon

update vag com only shows a possible issue with a yaw sensor hmmmmmm????

I am sure it's something like... Turn the key but don't start the ignition and wait until the light goes out? Something to with it being coded. Sorry for being so vague am sure a quick search will help you.

Thanks GeorgieS3 will try that

Do your hazard lights go off only when u try and start the car?
I've don't a quick search and couldn't find much I can't rember where I read it when I did my clocks.
But you might have to wait a minute or 2 with the key turned. Once the imobiliser light goes out it should start mate. Good luck

Tried lastnight leaving the Key in for what felt like a minute but no joy. Hazards don't kick in now on connection of the cluster but I did turn the lights on and only the passenger main beam comes on. Still the battery symbol comes on. Does this mean the battery is knackered?

Not too sure mate. If it's been sent of to be repaired then you should be able to connect to cluster back up and it shouldn't do anything until u out the key and and try to start it. I think so anyway. I ended up buying new clocks and then getting then coded to my ecu.

Have just disconnected the cluster and reconnected which has now removed the Immobiliser symbol however my battery is dead. But once up and running hopefully problem solved. Strange really.
