Hi All

Not very familiar with the forum yet but I know there will no doubt be a debate somewhere on here.

But what is the best engine oil everyone swears by for there :audibash: S4 ?

If you want the best you want a group 5 oil basestock which is an ester oil .

Red Line , Fuchs TITAN Pro S , Gulf Competition , Millers Nanodrive CFS.

These are £55 - £85 per 5L .

Quantum Platinum 5w40 from your local VW dealer or TPS will do you fine. Its usually around £25 a gallon, but TPS often do a deal on 20L for about 50quid.

I'd rather stick in a VAG approved group 3 , 4 and 5 basestock that out performs Quantum Platinum 5W40 .

502.00 and 505.00 are poor performing basic spec oils .
