Trying my new Ross tec cable out tonight and tried to change the code so my car beeps when I lock it .. I've put the new code in 01024 but every time I come out of the page it changes back when I'm I going wrong

The reason I chose to do the Chirp 1st was if I made a pigs ear of it I wouldn't have made a costly mistake. Quite a simple mod

Alarm siren died lol
I'm glad mine doesn't make a sound, apart from the reassuring thunk as the the locks engage.
