Had a clunk started recently and i thought id post up how i sorted it...i replaced the ARB links with meyle HD ones.and no change. so i stripped my front suspension and all was tight...track rods were well worn but not knocking...checked inner tie rods whilst i there too.all nice and tight 93k all original :)

Checked the rack, thats nice and tight too.

So i checked the subframe and  the bolts tightened 2 revs each!! with a windy gun, pretty sure id found the culprit, put back together.reversed off my drive, hey presto clunk gone.

Ill be putting some new bolts in asap.

Hope this helps a few peeps tracking down a Clunk/Knock whilst parking ect.
:kissmyrings:

I was going to say put new ones in as they are strech bolts and dont want to weaken them more by over tightening

Surely if they are loose that would be a tad concerning if like you say they are a "strech" bolt?
