Hello all,

Just thought i'd share my S4 with you! ive had it 7 months and as of yet haven't stopped loving it! :D

I bought it standard and on 100k miles, there are no running issues and after being logged, everything shows to be running as it should :)

Since buying it, the changes i've made are;

-RS6 Rep wheels (from standard Avus)
-Full Decat Miltek system :love struck:
-Remap (which is still being worked on)

She ran 358bhp on the Dyno a couple weeks ago which im more than chuffed with! (graph to follow!)
I would of been happy if it made standard figures considering its age but its obviously a healthy engine!

ever since the day i bought the RS6 wheels i regretted it because they look too small being 18" and i generally don't really like them, so... Ive just ordered a nice new set of Rota Grid Drifts in 19" (hate welcome) :lick:

Next on the list will be coilovers!

Anyway ill get some pics uploaded of it so far!!

I'm a new S4 Avant owner on here as well, great aren't they. 358bhp? where did the extra come from. I think the ride is firm enough without the 19" rims, watch out for the kerbs:nightmare:
 
yeah its fantastic mate, been very pleased! well the biggest change i noticed was the miltek! losing the cats and the ridiculous restrictions seem to make the response a lot better! and since its been mapped it feels a touch tourqier low down! ill upload the graphs in a sec :)

:yahoo:Same colour as mine, did you know black cars are the fastest, perhaps that's why you have 358 ponies. I didn't realise max power was at over 7k revs. I haven't been up there myself yet :calm:.
 
errrm, dont wanna sound funny here cause maybe I've missed something.....but the dyno results say RS4 with a totally different reg to your S4????
 
Healthy figures there ! I would try the JHM tune, it really wakes up the car !
 
JJ51 LAM comes down to an S4 quattro, not an RS 4. probably typo.

I am toying with th remap now but i suppose its not fully worth it without a custom exhaust to unlock best power right?
as for revs and power, as soon as you go past 5k and upto 7.5k it comes alive like a beast! Love it
 
Haha I wondered how long it would be before anyone came out with something about that!
The old reg which you can just see in a picture is OY54 MUO and JJ51 LAM is one I've put on, yes it's a typo on the printouts saying RS4, it's just a preset on the dyno.

Av4nt, I would really recommend changing the exhaust before your map!
Also the sound is just

If I'm reading that correctly, it's 262 at the wheels, and 358 at the engine... So these cars lose 100bhp to the transmission? That seems pretty high... I dread to think what mine actually puts down on the road then...

Not a criticism though, it's a nice car ;)

Don't forget the S4 is 4wd so will loose more power through the Quattro system.
 
With a good remap it still have a lot of power left over despite 4wd loses ! My JH Motorsport tuned s4 is very fast, a bit loud after the dual 3" exhaust but none the less pulls harder in every gear ! One of the best value for money car you can buy for about 5k, get a tidy one and you won't look back !

Sounds beastly! That V8 Sounds superb!

Love the fact you pulled away from that Scuby. The driver must be thinking WTF?! haha:D
 
Nice pulls ! What's the reason you kept the handbrake on ? Any clutch slip ?

Annoyingly had to hold the handbrake and the car rolled forward slightly on the line! No clutch slip, 4k clutch straight up.. Poor car

What size, width & offset are they?
