New 2015 RS3!!!

I'm not a massive fan of them in black anyway, easier to clean though I suppose...

As you'll see above, I'm going all black with mine so would like them black. Can always have them power coated I guess.

Yeah they would look great in black on your all black spec.

The Audi.de configurator is a fine piece of kit.
No doubt the UK one will be in the current format when it is finally up.

Actually, some people have cleaned the black off their exhausts! Can't remember exactly which model it was, but they posted pictures!

As in cleaned them to a point where the black has came off unintentionally?

If anyone wants them powder coated I'm your man!

I can't afford the extra sports exhaust and mag ride - but am happy with the spec. Factory order will be placed hopefully Tuesday or Friday Catalunya Red..

I'm hoping this is the sound of the standard exhaust, anything that sounds that good is more than good enough for me...

If the black ceramic stays on anything like the milltek painted tips it's shiit! mine started to come off in a couple thousand miles...wish I went for stainless!

GODDDDDDDAMMMMMM that Audi.de configurator :D

2 colours, Matt alu or black pack and choice of standard or titanium wheels

There is another video kicking around on Youtube that the car in that video has the sport exhausts and has further been tweeked for Mattias Ekstrom to zip about in the snow. I believe the sepang blue car thats been drifting about in the snow has the sports exhaust and the red one in the audi advert is the standard exhaust. You can tell a difference is all 3 exhausts.

Well that clears that up, nice bit of info

Anyone here know what profit margins the dealers have on new cars? Does it depend on the model? I've been told a flat 9% by mine but I've read different online. Need some info to back my haggle....

Depends on the model. Audi are pretty strict with the dealers on how low they can go - it's one of the reasons Audi's enjoy such high residual values, not much discount is usually available up front. I'd be surprised if people get more than 5% off the first round of RS3s ordered.

I'm waiting for confirmation on a BW22 or 23 RS3 - ahead of the dealer demo. Zero discount!

Here's mine

yyyyep, I'll probably be in the same boat once that uk configurator opens and my order get confirmed. Dealer did talk of offers but nothing solid on RS3 specific until they get solid information.

I'm sure there is a little staff discount to be had :/

Any further timescales for submitting your order? I'm also in the Basingstoke queue not so patiently waiting....!

Well having brought ~£150k of business (£90k personally, £60k in referrals) in 24 months to my dealer I can assure you if any discount is available I will find it!
Dealers also have a pot of money allocated to them by Audi UK to allow them to sell some cars below margin to certain customers, to help hook them into the brand, or for loyalty etc - so there may be a VERY lucky few that get to take advantage of this should their dealer see fit, but honestly I can't imagine dealers using this for RS3 sales...

Hopefully that will be the case, deposit went down a month ago now... I've enquired about the independent option of Sports Exhaust but that will be apparent with the much awaited configurator unless anyone knows otherwise?

I'm waiting for a Scott @ BasAudi to give me the good news call and that's my order confirmed :)

Has anyone heard the B&O? Is it worth the asking price? Iv got the Bose system currently and I love it but I'm finding it hard to justify that price tag when the Audi premium system is only ~ £200 odd

I had B&O in my SQ5 and now have Bose in my S1 - the B&O is at least twice as good.

However note I am an audiophile and so do love a good stereo!

When I was speaking to the dealer this afternoon he said that the B&O seemed to be more focussed on clarity rather than loudness like the Bose system which appeals to me.

Yea, the B&O is very well balanced. Many 'bass heads' complained they preferred the Audi System as it had more bass, but having heard both, and the Bose, if you appreciate high quality sound and not just vibrating your nuts, then the B&O is well worth it.
