Best place for replacement 2.0tdi motor

How long was it run after red oil light , under what situation has it failed , engine noises , turbo gone ?
Where about's are you based ? As above, there are chances that the engine might be salvageable, however the costs might be higher than sourcing a 2nd hand engine with un-known issues too ! Most engines sold are bare so you will need a turbo anyway so tke that into account as well !
It had been running fine done about 130K and the wife says the oil light came on and it just stopped! Cam belt has been shredded so thought that was the reason it had stopped but garage had a look this week and said it looked like something had come out at the bottom of the motor around the oil pump so and recommend replacing the motor
