choices choices

even though I have placed a deposit and order spec last week for a Daytona RS3, I am in 3 minds what to finalize with, when the order configurator opens with Audi (this week hopefully)....... only £100 difference between specs so really depends on the colour I can live with.

Daytona, I fall in love every time the car is washed, it looks so amazing
Sepang, soon be like a-holes, everyone has one :/ (but in all honesty, I'm leaning towards this over Daytona now)
Nardo, showroom colour? Can I live with it? Saying that, saw a very similar coloured Focus yesterday and it certainly is an attractive colour (not car lol!) (currently my choice over Sepang and Daytona, but all may change)

Of course, prices/spec changes may come with the Audi configurator so, choices choices....

Only looking at the brochure available as standard/optional atm.
 
Daytona spec is nice, but surely Alu roof rails with the Matt Alu styling kit?
 
yeah, mistake, I realised that, option would be alu rails, but in reality, it's the price that's driving things atm

agreed. It's such an unassuming colour. But I went passed the focus, THAT colour made me "look" at that damn mid-range focus, what has been seen, cannot be unseen :)

I have seen a Focus in that colour too.
I am really torn on the nardo grey - in some pictures I like it, but in others I am really unsure.
Which in itself tells me I either need to see it first hand on an RS3 or disregard it as a colour option.
Like many others I am not overly taken by the restricted colour options offered on the RS3.
Sepang is nice but it will take some serious looking after.
Had black on my last TTS and that was an eye opener.
Estoril blue I thought would be better but in reality it is just as hard to look after as black because its a dark blue.
I'm not sure if I am ready for white again - but that is an option.
Suzuka would have been ideal, but I'm not prepared to pay exclusive money to get it.

Not a fan of daytona TBH

But, as you know I quite like sepang ... ;):D
 
I think my colour decision had been made for me :)........

it is quite an interesting colour .......... but I would defo need to to see it first hand to make a full judgement.
 
well, close to my earlier post!

I have settled on a spec and colour so all I need now is the call from the stealer that the live order configurator is up so I can confirm the changes, and I'm done, in for the looong wait AGAIN :)

I think the diamond cut wheels will complement the standard alu mirror caps, so sticking with them.

Down the left are the ONLY options I am willing to consider and I set up an easy check box to automate the configuration/price (and I have only changed the config about a million times!!!!) (just as long as the price doesn't change too much when it's live!, ceiling is 47K)

What about sports exhaust & mono pur ?
 
Two different things I believe.
Alcantara door trim is on the side inserts.
Which on other models is leather.
The mono pur leather goes on the door handle / arm rest area.
 
Just back from Basigstoke Audi after their assurance scan on my car (knowing it's modded), the tech came back all clear with no flags (TD1) which means they are happy should I PX :). However, he did reset (apparently, the system does this automatically??) all the VCDS coding that had been done, which also meant losing my reverse parking camera, @Cruiser89, gonna need yours and James's help re-coding my camera!!!

Oh and made all the above spec changes whilst I was there ready to stick on the configurator when it's up....:still holding breath:
 
Don't forget your £590 delivery/ number plate charge. Still fascinates me how that's not included in the RRP.
 
I see. Do they slap a years tax on it too when it's delivered as part of the OTR price?

What colours are the following... As 1 & 3 are meant to be nardo but then is 2 daytona?

Just seen this on an Instagram page on Audi and looks very much like picture 1 I posted earlier - definitely lighting then. I love the nardo but that picture 2 looks good too - hopefully some clarification from the stealers will point it out
 
Yeah, Nardo does seem to cover a whole lotta lighting range if that's the case, sweet colour :)
